Every once in a while, a meme makes its way through the blogosphere. At the beginning of the semester, I got tagged for the “crazy 8 in 2008” meme, and I tagged all of you. That means (if you so choose) you can create a post on your blog to provide eight random or unusual things about you.
Some people think memes are only for the most narcissitic, self-absorbed people on earth. C’mon… they’re just for fun!

The NakedPR post isn’t about “fun” memes. It was a mockery of the fact that some “higher-ups” in the PR industry recently noted that memes are a measure of “influence.” My post is just showing that they’re not.

I don’t know who you have in mind, but it seems like you only encourage people when you treat them as seriously as they treat themselves.
